WHY WE CARE
Isn't it obvious why we take care of people? Finally we are in Executive Search active, the epitome of the proverbial people business. And as a successful consulting firm, we are committed to human potential.
Why care? Together we went on a search for meaning and talked at length about what is important to us, what sets us apart and what really matters in our industry. It was repeatedly discussed how sales-oriented HAGER is. One of the most commonly used terms was placement. A term that suggests that performance can be incentivized, just like the hustle culture would have us believe. But performance is an outcome where you can't control the outcome - the placement - you can only influence the process.
Action follows attitude. Our corporate culture guides us in strategy implementation and purpose activation. This culture defines the approach and values we stand for. At HAGER, good managers are particularly prudent. They inspire the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are necessary to make our purpose, the meaningfulness of our work, tangible.
We call this meaningful leadership: Ensuring our words and actions consistently align with our values. In that sense, we all have leadership responsibilities. And as leaders who are serious about human potential, putting people ahead of performance is critical to our mutual success.

In other words: At HAGER you are a high performer if you take care of the promotion of others. An increasing order situation and organizational complexity is often accompanied by a decreasing attention span, coupled with a feeling of being overwhelmed and insecure. And occasionally, that workload serves as an excuse not to take our values quite so seriously.
