An impressive career path

Born in Frankfurt, Frederik Luz can look back on a prestigious career with the world’s leading providers of global logistics services and digital innovation drivers in the logistics industry. Following a university degree in economics, his path led him resolutely into the management levels of sales and international marketing. He was responsible for high double-digit million budgets.

Working for express logistics service providers, Frederik Luz built up numerous branches in Germany and Europe as Director Europe. He successfully established teams and (digital) structures for air and road freight solutions. Most recently, he managed the business of Express Air Systems GmbH. This is one of the leading providers of express air freight and a joint venture between DB Schenker and Kühne & Nagel.

The company’s online search engine and booking platform won the Digital Champion Award (WirtschaftsWoche / Telekom; category “Digital Transformation in SMEs”).

With effect from July 1, 2022, Frederik Luz has taken over as Head of the Logistics business unit at the Frankfurt location.

In addition to his outstanding technical expertise and open manner, the logistics expert brings a wealth of experience with him. He enriches the HAGER team as the head of the agile Logistics business unit.

He is characterized by his understanding as a manager with diplomatic flair and a focus on safe and strong joint work.

“After very good years in operations, I want to be closer to people. In particular, I would like to contribute my experience with the new, digitally influenced generation of logistics experts and their mindset. In addition, this generation is absolutely needed in today’s attractive logistics industry, which is still undergoing an enormous process of change.
