The subject of data protection is personal data. These are according to Art. 4 No.1 GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Affected ) relate.

Hager Management Consulting as the responsible body takes the protection of your personal data seriously and would like to inform you below for which purposes we process your personal data, which categories are affected, who the recipients of this data are, the planned duration of storage and your rights with regard to information, correction or deletion or restriction of processing.

Purpose of storage and type of data

We collect and store personal data on the basis of Art. 6 GDPR Para.1.
In the majority of cases:

  • if there is consent to the processing of personal data, e.g. when providing your application/candidate documents or other personal data made available.
  • if the processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, e.g. due to an employment contract with Hager-UB, in the application process or due to a contract for training/coaching measures or other personnel services.
  • if the processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation
  • if the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of the person responsible, e.g. the economic interest of our company to fill an advertised position with the best possible candidates and to form a candidate pool that provides an interesting selection for future vacancies.

Your processed personal data may have been collected from you in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR or from third parties or from other sources in accordance with Art. 14 GDPR.

These are for example:

  • Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email address, etc.
  • Information about your vocational training
  • Your proof of education, your job-related qualifications and certificates.
  • Your professional career and information about your remuneration,
  • Data about your suitability for job vacancies with clients, which we compile as part of our assessments of your professional profile
  • Information focused on your professional life that is publicly available through social media services (e.g., Xing, Google, LinkedIn, Experteer, etc.) or otherwise on the internet that is relevant to your qualification for a specific leadership or similar management position could be
  • any sensitive personal information you disclose to us.

We use extensive technical and organizational security measures to protect the data we manage against manipulation, loss, destruction and access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously developed in line with technological developments.
If you provide information to us, it is possible that we will contact you via the contact details you may have provided in order to clarify questions that have arisen on our site or to obtain additional information from you.

Duration of data storage

We only store your data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing your data:

  • for the purpose of executing the contract and for enforcing and defending against civil law claims arising from the contractual and legal obligations existing with you until the end of the year following the statute of limitations for all mutual claims
  • as part of an application process or to form a pool of candidates in the legitimate interest for two years or with your consent for an unlimited period of time, whereby you can revoke this consent at any time.

Transfer to third parties

Within the framework of a contractual relationship, your data will only be passed on for the specified purpose based on contractual or legal agreements or with your consent. A further transmission to third parties does not take place. Exceptions to this apply to support our activities. In some areas, such as technical support, mail and data storage, hosting, we use external service providers who have been committed to confidentiality or with whom there is a contract for order processing under Art. 28 GDPR and who have taken extensive security measures to protect your data. The data passed on may only be used by third parties for the stated purposes. Your personal data will also be disclosed or transmitted to third parties if we are obliged to do so by law or a legally binding judgment.

As part of a candidate search with one of our clients or if you are stored within our candidate pool, we may provide your personal data
to potential employers. This may include information such as your professional training and professional history to determine whether clients are interested in filling a managerial or similar management position. The information disclosed will be limited to the information necessary for this purpose. We will not disclose all of your Candidate Information or otherwise introduce you in detail to a client without first obtaining your consent to do so.

Clients to whom we may disclose excerpts of your Candidate Information may be located in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) which the European Union has not determined to have an adequate level of protection of personal data, i.e. a level of protection for Fundamental rights and freedoms, which essentially corresponds to the level guaranteed within the European Union. Likewise, jurisdictions outside the European Union may determine, with regard to the countries to which your Candidate Information or parts thereof are transferred in accordance with the above, that these countries do not have an adequate level of protection.

By accepting this Privacy Policy, you expressly and unequivocally agree that your Candidate Information, or parts thereof, as described above, may be disclosed or otherwise transferred to recipients in countries that, compared to the applicable standards The jurisdiction in which you reside, work or contact us may have different, lesser or even insufficient protection for your personal data, and you expressly and unequivocally waive the protection in accordance with these standards for the information so disclosed or transmitted.

As part of the candidate search, your candidate information may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Conducting searches for potential candidates on behalf of clients who have a vacancy in an executive or similar management position
  • Assess your suitability for vacancies with clients
  • to inform you about vacant managerial or similar management positions that may be suitable for you:
  • to introduce you to clients as a possible employee
  • to verify your educational credentials, professional degrees and certificates.
  • In addition, your Candidate Information may be processed for the following purposes
  • Researching information with a focus on your professional life that is publicly available via social media services (e.g. Xing, Google, LinkedIn, etc.) or on the Internet or that results from the data previously disclosed to us by you, insofar as these information could be relevant to your qualification for a specific managerial or similar management position
  • Contacting you after you have been hired by a client as a source of information for potential additional candidates for additional clients
  • Ensuring that once hired by one client, you are not poached on behalf of another client unless you ask to be considered for other vacancies.

Rights of the data subject

Information, correction, deletion and blocking, right of objection, data portability

  • In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you are entitled at any time to receive comprehensive information from us about the data stored about you.
  • In accordance with Art. 16 – 18 GDPR, you can request us to correct, delete or block individual personal data at any time.
  • According to Art. 20 GDPR you have the right to data portability.

In accordance with Art. 22 GDPR, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling. We use analysis tools as part of the application process. For this purpose, candidate information is read in and evaluated. The processing of the data serves the purpose of identifying suitable applicants and positions, as well as advising applicants and companies about future career paths and development. For the purpose of processing, the personal data is pseudonymised, profiled, processed and stored in a file system for the duration of the intended processing. All applicable data protection laws are observed and decisions on personnel selection are not made solely on the basis of the available results of this process.

You can also make use of your right of objection at any time without giving reasons and change or completely revoke a given declaration of consent with effect for the future. you have acc. Art. 77 GDPR also gives you the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority if you believe that your personal data is not being processed lawfully. The supervisory authority responsible for us is: The Hessian data protection officer, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden.

The website contains links to various service providers, e.g. Insights-Discovery.
These have been committed to confidentiality or there is a contract according to Art. 28 GDPR for order processing. The data passed on may only be used by third parties for the stated purposes.

contact forms

There is a contact form on our website which can be used to contact us electronically. If a user takes advantage of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and saved.
The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us solely to process the contact and is used purely for the intended purpose. The transmission of data is SSL-encrypted.
