Esther Engels joined the team at HAGER Executive Consulting as Head of Finance on 1 August 2026. With over 20 years’ experience in finance, management accounting and auditing, she will be taking charge of the company’s finance department.
Esther Engels began her professional career in auditing at Mazars, before spending over 15 years in various management roles in financial control at Sodexo. There, her responsibilities included budget and forecast processes, IFRS reporting and financial management for the D-A-CH region and Central Europe. Since 2022, she has been Director of Controlling & Commercial Finance at McCann Worldgroup, where she supports the management team in strategic and operational financial decision-making.
Following her move to HAGER Executive Consulting, Esther Engels has taken over as head of the finance department. Her focus is on the further development of commercial processes, the strategic
management of the company, and the creation of transparent and sustainable financial structures.
