Network charges and regulation: leadership for grid operators and municipal utilities<\/h2>\n

Grid operators and municipal utilities today need executives who think regulation, financing and investment planning together and can represent these issues to municipalities, regulators and customers. The transmission network charges show how much this field is in motion. For 2027, the four German transmission system operators are calculating an average of 3.54 cents per kilowatt hour, up from 2.86 cents in 2026, even though a planned federal subsidy of around 5.5 billion euros has already been factored in (source: ZfK, 12 October 2026).<\/p>\n

Network charges, incentive regulation and investment planning are therefore moving even higher up the agenda of managing directors and commercial heads. The search is on for personalities who combine regulatory logic with commercial management and can lead a team through an investment cycle. Such profiles are rarely visible on the open market, and they usually only move after a targeted, confidential approach.<\/p>\n
