9 Storage of cookies

9.1 In some areas of the website, HAGER uses so-called cookies in order to be able to make our services available to you more individually. Cookies are identifiers that a web server can send to your computer to identify it for the duration of your visit.

9.3 You can prevent the storage of user behavior if you block the setting of cookies by this domain (http://www.gaulyadvisors.com) in your browser, for example by setting up an exception in the browser (e.g. in the Firefox browser). If necessary, please refer to the program help on how to set this up in your browser.

9.4 Of course, you can also delete the above-mentioned cookies in your browser on a case-by-case basis or periodically in order to delete tracking information.

10 Borlabs Cookie

This website uses Borlabs Cookie, which sets a technically necessary cookie (borlabs cookie) to save your cookie consent. Borlabs Cookie does not process any personal data. 11 Google Analytics

If necessary, after your consent (Borlabs cookie window; button on the bottom left on the homepage) on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a., Article 7 DSGVO) we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online service by users, compile reports on activities within this online service, and provide us with further services related to the use of this online service and internet usage. This can also involve the creation of pseudonymous user profiles based on processed data.

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means that the IP address of users within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened by Google. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The IP address submitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data provided by Google. The personal data of users is deleted or anonymized after 14 months.

12 Online presence in social media

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to be able to communicate with the customers, interested parties and users active there and to be able to inform them about our services there.

We would like to point out that user data can be processed outside of the European Union. This can result in risks for the user because, for example, the enforcement of the user's rights could be made more difficult. With regard to US providers who are certified under the PrivacyShield, we would like to point out that they undertake to comply with the data protection standards of the EU.

Furthermore, user data is usually processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created from usage behavior and the resulting interests of users. The usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements inside and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the interests of the user. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on the users' computers, in which the usage behavior and the interests of the users are stored. Furthermore, data can also be stored in the usage profiles independently of the devices used by the users (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).

The processing of users' personal data is based on our legitimate interests in effectively informing and communicating with users according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If users are asked for consent by the respective platform providers for the described data processing, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(a), Art. 7 GDPR.

For a detailed description of the respective processing and the possibility of objection (opt-out), we refer to the following linked information from the providers.

Also in the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights, we would like to point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers. Only the providers have access to the data of the users and can take appropriate measures and provide information directly. If you still need help, you can contact us.
